Kurt Cobain Journals Pg. 1-79

As I started reading this book, I didnt know what to expect from it. The book is composed of the collections of personal journals wrote over his life as an icon, revolutionary rockstar and heroin addict. Kurt battled with many as seen in his diaries. In the begging of his journals it is mostly composed of brainstorming ideas for his new up and coming band, Nirvana and his intrest in new punk rock and alternative bands. Nirvana is from the mind of Kurt Cobain, and his two friends both named Chris. His attitude in the begging is very anti-establishment and wants to go against the grain. He writes a couple of letter to his friends Mark and Dale. Kurt Cobain was also a gifted artist with a few comics or doodles throughout the pages.

As the book goes deeeper and deeper into Kurt's inner feelings, I feel as if im drawn into the book. Not as a reader, but as a detective looking to find what fuels and runs such an iconic figure in rock. It also grabs at me to find the personal demons that he had to see where he came from in his life. The book is going great so far and I am never putting it down until I finish it!
